Eric Blume



  
 



Eric Blume’s years of dedication to drumming and music, has inspired many students and fans. Fulfilling an early interest in recording, he founded The Rubber Room Recording Studio in the early ‘nineties, and recorded a significant number of local and national acts.

After two years of working with Willie Pooch Eric joined Ray Fuller and the Bluesrockers. Over the next ten years Eric recorded three cd's with The Bluesrockers. 

During those same ten years Eric recorded three cd's for The Sean Carney Band.

Eric performed on Teeny Tucker's first CD, “Tommy’s Girl” and  made appearances at Biscuits & Blues (San Francisco), The Monterey Bay Blues Festival and The Shenango Blues Festival.

Teeny Tucker and band placed third at the 2005 International Blues Challenge.

The Sean Carney Band took first place at The 2007 International Blues Challenge. Eric toured with Sean for almost five years and in that time they played some of the United States' most prestigious blues events such as The Blues Music Awards, The Safeway Waterfront Blues Festival and The New York State Blues Festival.

Eric has performed with Ray Fuller, Willie Pooch, Teeny Tucker, Big Joe Duskin, Joe Weaver, Wendy Dewitt,  Wilbert Longmire, Gene Walker, Guitar  Shorty,  Eddie “The Chief” Clearwater, Robin Rogers and many more.

Since 2007 Eric has made ten tours in Europe, several tours in Canada as well as Festival spots in Mexico and South America. 

It has been Eric's pleasure to prerform in 17 countries of the world and most of the 50 US states.

As a student of the art of drumming and music, it is Eric's goal to continue to work with his heroes in the music world and to pass on what he has learned to his students, in the hopes that they will have similar kinds of positive experiences
